Medical History

A complete medical history, including all medications is mandatory prior to surgery.

Surgical Fee & Payment

Our policy can be simply stated, namely;
We will deliver the finest care of which we are capable, at as reasonable a cost to the patient as feasible, and we expect to be paid for services provided. Our office policy is payment at the time of service for all treatment unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If any questions or problems arise regarding your account, please call. Many times a simple telephone call will avert misunderstandings.

In most cases, dental or medical insurance does not cover the full cost of surgical care. It is designed to reduce your cost, but not to eliminate it completely. Insurance benefits are determined by the type of plan chosen by you or your employer. We are usually not directly involved with the insurance carrier in any way, but with some carriers we may be a direct provider. Our staff will help you to receive the maximum benefits available under your policy. However, please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Anesthesia

Different procedures necessitate different types of anesthesia. You and the doctor will discuss which type is best for you.

Local Anesthesia: Injections in the mouth to numb or anesthetize the area where treatment is to be rendered.

General Anesthesia/Sedation: Intravenous injection of drugs into a vein of the arm to establish a stage of sleep. Local anesthesia is also frequently used in conjunction with this type of anesthesia. Variations of this type of sedation will be fully explained by the doctor.
